Barbary Coast Adventures - Exploring the Canvas of the World

The flagship series of our production company is Barbary Coast Adventures, a series devoted to global outdoors adventure travel destinations, where every journey of discovery ends with a terrific meal, prepared by a local chef. This series was originally designed for regional broadcast within the San Francisco Bay Area, although it currently airs on national cable broadcast as Taste for Adventure on the Fine Living TV Network. Barbary Coast Adventures also has an international distribution agency that brings our stories to a worldwide audiece.

Barbary Coast Adventures, through multiple broadcast seasons, has explored many U.S. and international destinations. Our featured activities span a broad range of options: heli-mountain biking in New Zealand, glacier climbing in Norway, mulepacking in the Yosemite backcountry, paddling outrigger canoes along Hawaii's Kohala Coast, diving the reefs of the Florida Keys and numerous other adventurous activities. The food we handle along the way is exceptional: line-caught trout from New Zealand's Mataura River, organic fiddlehead ferns plucked from New Hampshire's White Mountains, fresh sea urchin harvested from British Columbia's remote tidepools, sustainable, grass-fed lamb from California's Sonoma wine country...the list goes on!
